Raoul Duke - completely irrational

Gonzo is going to be the biggest summer movie of 2008, it will be in theaters July 4th. This is possibly the most anticipated film surrounding Hunter S. Thompson in all history. Here is a sneak peak of the Gonzo movie poster.

This will be a 2 hour documentary on the life & times of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson. An epic tale starting in the 70’s & leading up to his death in 2005 all enthusiastically narrated by Thompson’s best friend Mr. Johnny Depp. Apparently this is a star studded documentary with special guests including: Benicio Del Toro, Gary Busey, George McGovern, Jimmy Carter, Juan Thompson (Thompson’s son), Pat Buchanan, Mat Dillon, Nick Nolte, John Cusak, Ralph Steadman, Sonny Barger, Terry Gilliam, Tom Wolfe. Of course there will be archive footage of Hunter Thompson himself as well as special appearances from actors in all of the movies like Where the Buffalo Roam, Fear & Loathing in Las vegas, and even his previous documentaries like “Breakfast with Hunter”.

This movie will do a lot to inform the general public about this great American hero & no doubt fully entertain the die hard HST fans. So God bless the battle hardened political & journalistic patriot and infamously crazy/splendid man we sometimes called Raoul Duke. Long live the memory of Dr. Hunter Thompson & long live Gonzo!

Well its been quite a while since I last posted, so no time better than now right?

It was 2am when the thought hit me. Gather drugs, alcohol, some Hawaiian shirts & head straight down I-95 South until it stopped. It was to become an 11 day journey into extreme weirdness & raw disgusting humanity.
The first night headed out of the gates of hell I became tired from a mixture of exhaustion, over-use of alcohol, adderral & sex earlier in the day. I stopped at the very first motel that cost under $30 somewhere in the middle of bum fuck South Carolina. Paid the man of Indian decent my meager fee of $27.00 plus a dollar for 2 cokes. I cracked open a few cokes & mixed in a heavy dose of jack daniels. I dropped a couple of tranquilizers under my tongue. A deep coma ensued.

The rest of this story might very well one day become a book, so I’ll wait a bit to finish it. All in good time my friends, all in good time.

In this next picture you will find the “Rainbow Swoosh” as I have coined the term.  The “Rainbow Swoosh” is a persons way of fanning the money out to appear to be a larger amount than it really is.  This technique is usually employed by teenage idiots who wish their paycheck to appear to be drug money on the internet.  Kids please….no one thinks drug dealers are cool, seriously.  Everyone is a drug dealer these days, so it’s not uncommon, your about as cool as the asshole geek with glasses at Rite Aids who fills my antibiotic.
